The world’s premier drag racing series spans February to November in the US and if you haven’t yet experienced these mighty beasts in action you are in for a big surprise!
 The NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series climaxes at two of America’s great performance tracks –the spectacular Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, NHRA’s spiritual home near Los Angeles – with four intense days of racing at each track. With speeds sometimes topping 330mph it’s the world’s fastest motor sport and hotly contested.
In 2007, NHRA’s new Countdown To The Championship saw dramatic title battles in all four Pro classes run to the season’s very last afternoon. For the second year running, Tony Schumacher snatched the Top Fuel crown at the finish line in the day’s final round and Matt Smith grabbed the Pro Stock Motorcycle title equally late. Tony Pedregon and Jeg Coughlin secured the Funny Car and Pro Stock Car championships only a round or two sooner. For 2008 the Countdown format has been revised but thrilling championship finishes are still anticipated.
Both races feature all four Pro classes plus huge Sportsman fields. At Las Vegas the spectacular Pro Mods make their last NHRA appearance of the year in the JEG’s ProMod Challenge. Pomona features outstanding fields of Top Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars.

The draw will take place during Santa Pod Raceway’s FIA European Finals (4-7 September). Two winners will be drawn, one for Las Vegas and one for Pomona. Each winner, along with up to three travelling companions, will be invited to spend a day at the races in the company of Don Schumacher Racing.
Don Schumacher Racing fields no fewer than seven professional teams in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. Winning guests will be invited to spend Saturday at Las Vegas or Pomona in the team’s private pitside enclosure, enjoying the sponsor’s official hospitality programme, meeting Team Schumacher drivers, crew-chiefs and other team members and watching all the activities from the closest quarters as the crew prepares for the day’s two scheduled qualifying sessions.

The SEMA Show takes place at Las Vegas Convention Centre from 4-7 November. Known as the biggest and best car show on earth it is a private trade show with admission strictly limited to automotive business professionals. If you qualify for entry and wish to attend we can arrange it for you. The registration fee is US$15 per person and the minimum entry age is 16 years.
