The spectacular Motorland Aragon track was designed by Hermann Tilke and Pedro de la Rosa. The inaugural Aragon MotoGP race held in 2010 won praise from the riders for its combination of elevation changes, fast and slow corners and blind turns – many describing it as complicated and technical and a welcome addition to the MotoGP calendar.
The Province of Aragon is a land of contrasts – rich in history, art, traditions and landscapes and many areas are relatively untouched by tourism. Bordering the Pyrenees in the north and dissected by the Ebro River you will discover high mountain grasslands, deep valleys, lakes and vast plains with wildlife as diverse as vultures, bears and camels. It is an area well visited by the adventurous for skiing, climbing, canyoning and rafting – and now also for motor sports and the Aragon MotoGP.
Our hotel is in the city of Lleida, one of the older and more picturesque towns just across the border in Catalonia. Transfer time between the hotel and the Motorland Aragon circuit will be approximately 1 hour 45 minutes but once you return to your hotel you will find all the benefits of city life on your doorstep. Our hotel is close to the commercial centre, La Seu Cathedral and the train station and just 50 metres from the Rambla Ferran, a lively area with a wide range restaurants, bars and shops to suit all tastes.
You can reserve the 2012 Aragon MotoGP with us as a ground only arrangement and make your own travel arrangements, but we are also offering a fully inclusive flight and airport transfer package flying into Barcelona. From here the transfer to the hotel will take approximately 2 hours by airconditioned coach.
