Australian MotoGP - Phillip Island
28 October 2012
28 October 2012
Over looking the great Southern Ocean, Phillip Island is one of the most recognisable MotoGP circuits in the world. With an ocean backdrop and bird strikes a regular occurrence this circuit normally throws up some tight racing. Many of the corners are very high speed and viewing from around the Phillip Island track is excellent.
The lively cosmopolitan city of Melbourne will be our base for the Australian MotoGP weekend. With a bewildering array of nightlife and restaurants, the city is a gastronomic delight.
Enjoy a cruise along the Yarra River through the heart of the city or see some spectacular 360degree views from the Melbourne Observation Deck, hop on and off the free city circle tram or go further afield and visit the goldfields, wineries and the Great Ocean Road.
A shuttle transfer service runs from Melbourne to the Phillip Island track over the 2012 Australian MotoGP race weekend allowing you to enjoy all of the racing while each evening being able to explore this fun city.
Included in the package for the Australian 2012 MotoGP Phillip Island, is a grandstand seat in Lukey Heights. The stand is at the highest point of the circuit at turn 9 and is a fantastic vantage point for all the action.
