Hotel Mercure * * * *
The Mercure Hotel de France is one of the oldest in the city and is next to “Les Halles” where the Saturday evening buffet dinner is held. A good 3 star hotel just 15 minutes drive from Angouleme. Within the grounds there’s a lake, tennis courts and outdoor pool. Rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and plenty of onsite parking. Transfers will be available morning and evening between the hotel and the centre of Angouleme.
