The tours below are designed for those with elegible cars, pre-1980 with some more modern exceptions. However, if you have a modern car and would like to attend this event, you can. Simply leave your car at the hotel, which is just five minutes walk from the entrance and enjoy the weekend from the stands and exhibition areas. Thursday 28 April
Join the tour at Portsmouth for the overnight sailing to Caen. Onboard accommodation is reserved for you.
Friday 29 April
Arriving into France early morning we begin the leisurely drive to Magny Cours arriving at the hotel towards the end of the afternoon. We will meet for a welcome drink and the evening is free to enjoy as you wish.
Saturday 30 April & Sunday 1 May
After breakfast at the hotel drive into the circuit to the reserved classic car parking area. You are then free to enjoy each day’s activities. You have full access to the Classic Club on top of the pit building where you can go to relax and enjoy a drink whenever you wish. Lunch each day and dinner on Saturday evening here is reserved for everyone. Sunday evening is free to enjoy as you wish.
For those taking part in the track laps there are three 20 minute sessions each day. For those taking the rally option, you will depart in the afternoon for a relaxed 80 km run. There is a planned stop halfway around and prizes for competition winners. All cars can take part in the grand parade.
Monday 2 May
After breakfast leave at your leisure to make your way back to Caen for the afternoon sailing to Portsmouth arriving mid-evening. Alternatively, you can extend your stay to explore further this beautiful region in the heart of France.
Holiday Inn, Magny Cours
Situated on the site of the motor racing circuit you are well placed for easy access to the event all weekend. The rooms are modern and spacious there is a very good restaurant, bar, outdoor heated pool, tennis and fitness facilities. There is also a large secure car park. You will also find bars and restaurants both in the village of Magny Cours and St Parize le Chatel, which is also very close to and within walking distance from the track.
