Friday 30 April
Join the tour at Portsmouth for the early morning fast craft into Caen. Arriving into France late morning we will take the direct route to Magny Cours arriving at the hotel towards the end of the afternoon. We will meet for a welcome drink and the evening is free to enjoy as you wish.
Saturday 1 May
After breakfast at the hotel we drive into the circuit to our parking area. For those taking part in the track laps there are three 20 minute sessions throughout the weekend. Lunch for eveyone is included at the circuit. For those taking the option to participate in the Classic Tour this departs in the afternoon for a relaxed 80 km run with prizes for those who complete the quiz on both days. This evening we will have dinner at the circuit with a music concert as entertainment.
Sunday 2 May
Today the classic tour takes place in the morning and the track sessions continue throughout the day. All cars take part in the late morning big parade on the circuit. Lunch is once again included in the restaurant above the pits and, at the end of the day’s events, the evening is free to enjoy as you wish.
Monday 3 May
After breakfast at the hotel we make our way back to Caen for the afternoon sailing to Portsmouth arriving late evening. For those who wish to take more time on the return we can reserve for you the overnight sailing. Alternatively, you may want to extend your stay in France.
Holiday Inn, Magny Cours
Situated on the site of the motor racing circuit you are well placed for easy access to the event all weekend. The rooms are modern and spacious there is a very good restaurant, bar, outdoor heated pool, tennis and fitness facilities. There is also a large secure car park. You will also find bars and restaurants both in the village of Magny Cours and St Parize le Chatel, which is also very close to and within walking distance from the track.
