The 2008 edition of the historic Grand Prix will
be the 8th running. This lesser known event is
growing in stature with the enthusiastic promoters
continually putting on a great show. 2007 saw
grids of pre-1947 racing cars, pre-’66 Touring cars,
pre-’75 GT cars, a Formula Junior round of the
Historic City championship and a race for pro/am
drivers and local dignitaries. The circuit is situated
in a large park near the centre of the city.
Copenhagen is a delightul weekend destination and the event
happens during the best time of the year in Scandinavia. The
medieval centre is perfect for strolling and Stroget, Europe’s
longest shopping street, is pedestrianised. Along the canal at Nyhavn you can visit the Little Mermaid and the waterfront is lined
with bars and restaurants. In the evening, Tivoli Gardens is well
worth a visit. We offer a three star hotel which is centrally located
and which has many surrounding bars and restaurants to choose
from. It is within walking distance to the circuit too and we include
VIP weekend tickets.
