NITROLYMPX

Well-known to our Formula One Grand Prix followers, Germany's Hockenheimring also hosts one of the highlights of the FIA Drag Racing season, the NitrolympX. For three days in August fans pack the southern stadium section to witness a weekend of intense competition, along with the after-dark spectacle of Saturday's Nightshow. Though only used once a year the track can certainly deliver performance: in 2008 British Top Fuel star Andy Carter hit a booming 314mph terminal speed and Sweden's Mikael Lindahl obliterated Pro Modified's 240mph barrier.

Join us there for a weekend of incredible speed and entertainment.

Friday 14 August

Fly from London Heathrow Airport on the scheduled flight of Lufthansa to Frankfurt. On arrival you will be taken by coach to Bad Durkheim where accommodation is reserved for you for three nights on bed and breakfast basis.

Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 August

At leisure or to join us at Hockenheim. The coach will leave each morning and return at the end of the day's events.

Bad Durkheim is in the Rhineland and less than an hour from the Hockenheimring. This quaint town has tree-lined avenues, fountains and squares busy with pavement restaurants and cafes serving hearty German fare and fruity local wines. It is an ideal spot for race weekend in this picturesque area of northern Germany.

Monday 17 August

Free until your return transfer to Frankfurt for the early evening flight to London Heathrow.

Hotel Mecure
