Abu Dhabi Grand Prix > 03 Nov 2013
Event Overview
Each year more and more people are discovering the delights of a Grand Prix weekend in Abu Dhabi. The combination of excellent hotels, amazing circuit facilities and guaranteed sunshine make it a very attractive proposition.
The capital of the United Arab Emirates, owes its existence to the chance discovery of fresh water on the island around 250 years ago. The abundance of this valuable commodity ensured its growth and it is now a thriving modern, commercial city. Nevertheless, much emphasis is placed on the origins and culture of old Arabia and the Bedouin traditions, which are carefully preserved alongside the new leisure facilities. This means the best of both worlds for visitors - golf courses, spas and modern shopping malls, bazaars, souks and falconry. All cuisines are on offer in the many restaurants and the temperature averages a comfortable 24 degrees. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is a winner!
For many Dubai has become a favourite holiday destination and, on our two-centre tour, you can spend four nights in Abu Dhabi followed by three nights in Dubai with plenty of time to enjoy the best of both Emirates. Boasting a stunning skyline, white sand beaches and calm waters it is a paradise for sun lovers and watersports fans. Shopping is exceptional too with many modern shopping malls and ancient souks selling jewellery and spices. Sightseers can take a desert safari, visit the Mosque, Al Fahidi Fort and take a boat ride along the creek and through the historic centre of Dubai.
