Sachsenring 8 July 2012
Situated in the former East Germany, the Sachsenring was built in 1927. After several revamps over the following years it was lengthened in 2001 to become the circuit we see today. The Sachsenring circuit has some very tight and slow corners in comparison to many other tracks on the MotoGP calendar and produces some great racing.
Our hotel for the 2012 German MotoGP is in the town of Chemnitz approximately 10km from the circuit and a hive of activity over weekend. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and several dotted around the main square - perfect to sit and watch the world go by.
For viewing we offer a choice of grandstand ticket. Choose between the centrally located T7 stand or T1 stand located on the start / finish straight. T1 is the only covered grandstand at the Sachsenring circuit.
