The Goodwood Festival of Speed - spend a long summer weekend in the South of England experiencing an extravaganza of sound and colour. The magnificent Goodwood Estate in Chichester hosts the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed event, which celebrates the history of motor sport from the earliest Edwardian machines to the very latest F1 cars. Scores of cars are flown across the world to participate in the Goodwood Festival of Speed - what is without doubt the largest and most diverse classic motor sports event in the world. Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the few places where you can witness the greatest competition cars and famous drivers side-by-side, past and present. With so much to see at the Goodwood Festival make sure you don’t miss the exhibition area which features hundreds of motor sport related stands selling memorabilia, art, literature and much more. Catering is extremely well organised with a wide selection of food outlets and throughout the Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend you’ll be kept entertained by the display teams and live bands.
Portsmouth is less than 20 miles from Goodwood and is our base for the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend. Enjoy a leisurely drink at a waterfront café or take the panoramic lift to the top of Portsmouth’s main attraction, the Spinnaker Tower, for spectacular views across the harbour.
