Everyone stays in nearby Budapest where there’s a great atmosphere during the Hungarian Grand Prix race weekend. If you are not spending all your time at the Hungaroring track there is plenty to do. Budapest is packed with buildings and fortifications from Roman times and Turkish baths which are still in use today. The city has a rich history, the markets are colourful and the pavement cafes are teeming. From Castle Hill there are spectacular views over Budapest and the River Danube and there are plenty of restaurants serving hearty local Hungarian cuisine with plenty of full-bodied wines to wash it down. The Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix is always a popular race weekend! If a weekend is not long enough then you might prefer our two-centre itinerary.
