Monte Carlo is synonymous with motor racing and the Automobile Club de Monaco undertakes the job of putting on a race with the same grace and passion as they did in 1929. Nowhere else do Grand Prix cars, historic or modern, look as good as they do around the narrow streets of the Principality. Nowhere else can match the intensity of the sights and sounds of F1 engines – Grand Prix racing was created to take place in Monaco.
The track layout is much as it has always been. New buildings have replaced the old – the original station is now the Fairmont Hotel and the popular Rosie’s bar on the hill is a distant memory – but the circuit still features some of the most famous corners in motor sport. Lapping the track through Ste Devote, Massenet, Portier, Tabac and Rascasse at high speed requires immense concentration, skill and a goodly amount of luck. Even the slightest brush with the Armco signals the end but to win in Monaco is the ultimate prize. For this prize and for the sheer thrill of watching it unfold, drivers and spectators will forever want to be there.
Our tours to this event give you the opportunity to fly to Nice from a choice of regional airports and spend three or four nights in a selection of hotels in and close to the Principality. Alternatively and for a longer holiday, book your place on our popular driving tour. The itinerary will take you through many of France’s diverse and scenic regions covering the miles sometimes on autoroutes and often on rural roads with plenty of sightseeing opportunities along the way. Comfortable overnight stays and a fine meal will set you up nicely for the following day’s drive. In Monaco you will spend three nights in the excellent Columbus Hotel, perfectly located for easy access to your grandstand.
Whichever tour you choose you are invited for a Welcome drink with us on Friday evening and grandstand seats for both Saturday and Sunday are included in the prices.
You are free to choose your grandstand, which can be different for each day.
If you would like any assistance with your choices we’ll be happy to help. Call us on 0845 375 0302 or click here and we'll call you.
