The MotoGP season gets under way at the Losail International Circuit. The state of art circuit inaugurated in October 2004 is fully equipped with the latest facilities and services. To spice things up even more the 2012 Qatar MotoGP race is run at night under the spectacular floodlights.
Situated along the western shore of the Arabian Gulf, Qatar is almost completely surrounded by sea. Qatar borders Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the south and Bahrain in the northwest.
Our hotel for the Qatar Moto GP is in the cosmopolitan capital city of Doha. The city is a blend of old and new offering a wide range of attractions. Spend a day meandering among the atmospheric old souqs and luxurious shopping malls or stroll along Doha's beautiful waterfront Corniche lined with palm trees and offering panoramic views of Palm Tree Island.
With the Qatar GP race being run during the evening there is plenty of time to explore the area and included in our package is a half day city tour. Highlights along the way will include the Camel market, Gold Souq and a visit to the Equestrian club to see the Qatar Royal family’s priceless race horses.
