Monaco Grand Prix

A modern hotel located in the very heart of Nice, just 3 minutes walk from the promenade. There is a lovely roof terrace and also a bar area in the lobby. Whilst there is no restaurant onsite there is a fantastic choice just minutes away by foot. Approximately 10 minutes walk to the train station for easy access to Monaco.

Located just steps from the Promenade des Anglais this 3* hotel has a lovely lounge and terrace and was fully renovated in 2019. The train station is 15 minutes on foot for access to Monaco. All rooms have a private shower room and a continental breakfast is included in your stay.

Located on the inside of the track on the famous hairpin bend the hotel has its own casino, gym, spa, Nikki Beach pool deck, champagne bar and a choice of restaurants including NOBU. Bedrooms are extremely comfortable and spacious and front desk services are excellent. The closest grandstand is Casino Square, or for the Historic Grand Prix, you can view it from the hotel’s rooftop.

Please note guests of the Fairmont Hotel do have access to the rooftop pool area at Nikki Beach but significant supplements do apply during the Grand Prix weekend to use Nikki Beach’s sun loungers within the poolside area. Although the pool is open to all hotel guests all other facilities including sunloungers belong to the beach club and fees do apply. Please ask for further details.

Caffe Milano has built a stunning new roof terrace in the heart of the harbour at Tabac Corner. This unique viewing location offers guests views of the cars as they tackle the chicane, racing past the super yachts directly towards Caffe Milano and tackle Tabac Corner just metres away from you before racing away towards the Piscine section. The roof terrace has one of the best views in Monaco! A 3-course buffet luncheon is served downstairs with an open bar of Champagne, fine wines, spirits and other drinks.

The restaurant is located trackside in the 5* Metropole Hotel and offers the perfect vantage point to view the race and enjoy the Monaco atmosphere. From this location, guests will experience fantastic race viewing combined with world-class cuisine. Guests will enjoy views of the cars as they exit Casino Square, race directly past the terrace and then brake hard to tackle Mirabeau Corner before disappearing into the Fairmont hairpin complex. Seated dining tables in the fabulous Metropole restaurant are the best available. The terrace puts guests right in the heart of the action whilst the luxurious surroundings make this a truly VIP experience.

Saturday 25th May – Monaco Harbour Yacht

Watch qualifying from a 28m tri-deck yacht which offers a luxurious experience for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The spacious decks are ideal for watching the racing whilst you soak up the atmosphere of the most amazing race on the calendar. A fine buffet lunch is prepared by the onboard chefs and is served with a selection of drinks including Champagne, fine wines, beers and soft drinks.

Sunday 26th May – Ermanno VIP
With breathtaking views over more than half of the track, the 5* suite in the Ermanno building offers one of the best views of the famous Monaco circuit. From a private balcony, guests can see: the tunnel exit, Chicane, Tabac Corner, swimming pool section, start/finish straight, Sainte Devote Corner, Beau Rivage climb and the giant harbour screen. Apart from the vast race viewing potential – the stunning views over Monaco, the harbour and the Mediterranean are a sight to behold on their own. The private race viewing terrace wraps around the suite giving plenty of space for all of the guests to view the track and inside experienced caterers serve a full day of hospitality, including a sumptuous buffet luncheon and an open bar of Champagne, selected spirits, wines and beers.

Surf and Turf Option 2 – Watch from two different locations

Friday 24th May – La Rascasse

La Rascasse is the world-famous bar inside the penultimate corner of the Monaco Grand Prix track. The cars race around the perimeter of the building putting guests right in the centre of the action. Watch as the cars exit the swimming pool section and race directly towards Rascasse before going around the building just metres away. From the first-floor viewing balconies, guests will be able to look down into the cockpit of the cars creating a very unique view! Full hospitality is laid on by Rascasse kitchens with Champagne, fine wines, spirits and other drinks being served from 11 a.m. until the end of the racing schedule. Upon arrival, light breakfast snacks are served followed by a full buffet lunch.

Saturday 25th May – Monaco Harbour Yacht

28m tri-deck yacht offers a luxurious experience for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The spacious decks are ideal for watching the racing whilst you soak up the atmosphere of the most amazing race on the F1 calendar. Guests are transferred from Fontvieille Harbour by tender into Monaco Harbour to board the yacht. Once onboard, special caterers serve a light breakfast followed by a Grand Prix buffet luncheon on board and afternoon tea. The Champagne will flow as the action unfolds through the harbour circuit.

Sunday 26th May – Albatross Roof Terrace

Located at the heart of the circuit, this rooftop terrace enjoys a breathtaking and panoramic view of the port area. Being directly above the F1 starting grid, you will enjoy a view of the start and finish line, a part of the S of the swimming pool, the Rascasse and Anthony Noghès corners, and the giant screen. Track visible: to the left of the terrace guests can see the main straight and starting grid towards the first corner, to the right the exit of the final corner at La Rascasse, and directly opposite out towards the harbour and sections of the track there. Directly below the apartment, 20 metres off the track is blocked by part of the building. Specialist caterers serve a light breakfast and fine buffet luncheon with an open bar all day, including champagne, spirits, fine wines and other drinks.

The Midi Terrace VIP Suite is the very best race-viewing experience from the 5* Hotel Hermitage. Guests have access to the luxurious hospitality suite adjoining the Midi Terrace where a buffet luncheon is served, including fine dishes such as beef encroute & lobster, served with premium Champagne, wines and other drinks. Guests can walk onto the adjoining Midi Terrace from which stunning views of the first corner, Beau Rivage Straight and Harbour are in view.

The Midi Terrace itself is large and spacious with multiple bars, marquees and a specially constructed raised viewing platform. Screens are located in the suite, on the terrace and a giant screen is located directly opposite the terrace.
