We’re really excited to be offering the Suncity Group 65th Macau Grand Prix for the first time in 2018.

The race is one of the most exciting and unique events in the world and is the only street circuit racing event where you can experience both car and motorcycle races at one event.

One of the highlights of the race weekend is the Macau Formula Three Grand Prix.  Many of the young Formula 3 drivers who have raced at Macau have gone on to become successful Formula One drivers, including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Mika Hakkinen, David Coulthard, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg (to name just a few).

Lewis Hamilton once talked about the Macau circuit as being “...the coolest street circuit in the world. For me, it beats Monaco, and I love Monaco. It's twice the length of Monaco and it's such a challenge to keep your mind focused over such a long lap."

The cars are not the only attraction at the Macau Grand Prix. The bike race has been extremely popular with British riders, with 35 British winners over the past 50 years, including Carl Fogarty, Ron Haslam and Mick Grant.

Did you know? Along with the New Zealand Grand Prix the race is one of only two non-Formula One events to receive the Grand Prix title.

Just 40 miles from Hong Kong, Macau has a unique Portuguese-Chinese heritage and is one of the Far East’s most exciting destinations.

Highlights include the UNESCO World Heritage listed “Historic Centre of Macao”, featuring buildings of both Portuguese and Chinese origin, the Macau Tower – home to the world’s highest bungy jump – and vibrant nightlife with bars, nightclubs, casinos and the spectacular House of Dancing Water show.

Macau’s food is legendary – along with Portuguese, Chinese and all kinds of international cuisines is the local Macanese food, which combines influences from both China and Portugal as well as South America, Africa and India with 2018 the Macao Year of Gastronomy.

Visitors can relax in Macau’s southern countryside of picturesque hills and beaches or “shop ‘til they drop” at one of the bustling markets or designer malls.

Our two-centre Macau Grand Prix package includes four nights in Macau for the main event followed by three nights in Hong Kong after the Grand Prix weekend.

Our 7 night package takes in Macau & Hong Kong. It includes return flights to Hong Kong, hotel accommodation on a B&B basis, Grandstand ticket for the Macau Grand Prix, return ferry crossings between Hong Kong and Macau and return shuttle from the Macau ferry terminal to hotel.
